It is called the SMILE-children project, and it involves children making seasonal greeting cards by hand with pencil, paper and colors, and then those cards being sold in the local bazaar to fund the children’s education.

The inauguration of the project took place at Big Bazaar on Old Madras road in Bangalore. The store manager from Big Bazaar agreed to allow space in his store for the items made by children from the Good Shepherd School.

A director from Hewlett-Packard, Richard Fourcier, inaugurated the project on October 22, which was covered by the TV9 television station which showed it on “Just Bangaluru” at 10pm the next day. The organisation’s website and video (shown below) credit Landmark Education.
