Shana Dressler has used her participation in Landmark Education’s programs to develop Discovering Ganesh, a multi-pronged, multi-media project to educate westerners, Americans specifically, about the deity Ganesh. The project was recently featured on The Desi Beat, a television show on ImaginAsian TV, America’s only 24 hour Asian American television network. Here is the video about discovering Ganesh.

Dressler, a New York City photographer, created the project to include a multi-media exhibit including five short films, a photography book, a fundraiser for an Indian charity, and an adventure travel tour for the Ganesh festival itself in India.
