Rishi Modi is passionate about dancing. So he created a project in the Self-Expression and Leadership Program that created a dance workshop for children. Specifically, he chose to work with the St. Catherine Home for Underprivileged Children. As he created the project, he asked the aid of Sandip Soparrkar to lead the workshop for the children, who generously agreed to take part.

On the day of the event itself, Rishi, Sandip, Rishi’s friends and Sandip’s crew arrived at the St. Catherine’s home at 10:30 am on Sunday morning this past July 20. The workshop began at 11 for the first set of children, of whom there were 50–All girls under the age of 10! Rishi wasn’t sure if they would be able to learn Latin Dance. Each of the 50 children brought lots of joy and energy to the event. Rishi himself danced for a song during the class, after which the children danced to a Hindi song.
Rishi and all the adults were moved and filled with joy at the event, which went on for four hours. After the event ended for the first group of children, a second class took place with another 50 young people.
