The way Tom Tapp saw it, American veterans of the war in Iraq who came home without legs deserved some of the freedom they had been fighting for. Tapp, a Graduate of Landmark Education’s Communication curriculum and a participant in the Team Management Leadership Program, set up a surfing day in Southern California, where dozens of amputees from the Iraq war got a chance to surf under the direction of world class professionals.
